Imaging is usually a new technology for in-house staff. We have gone through the learning curve. We have done it before. We know that while imaging and document management are very simple on the desk top, enterprise wide systems are extremely complex. We know that pilot systems, which can be very valuable, may not scale up. We can manage expectations, help you honestly budget and plan for a system, and ensure that the contingencies which inevitable occur are well managed. We can recognize the downstream production issues before the project is started. We have experience working with the end users to ensure that the system they ask for, can be tailored to what they really need during implementation.

The Adler Group has first hand experience with a large number of vendors. Through trusted sources we hear about even more. There are vendors who will sell the products from which they obtain the most profit, and forget about the support required for production use. We hear about the abandoned "Technology Monuments" erected by salesmen for naïve customers. Then there are service providers who, once the contract is negotiated, come up with "add-ons" which your staff didn’t think to negotiate ahead of time. These can double or triple the cost of scanning and indexing for example. Your odds of getting burned are far less with us managing your project.
